Breakers at Bandits: Start time, TV channel, and live stream options
In Week 1, the Bandits cruised to a 17-0 first-half lead against the Pittsburgh Maulers. While the wounds seemed self-inflicted by the offense in the second half, the defense held Tampa Bay down.
The Bandits were the only USFL team to win by double digits in Week 1, and thus, stand on top of the USFL. QB Jordan Ta’amu only needs slight polishing to take this passing attack to the next level. However, a date against the Breakers’ defense looks to be a tough outing. Here’s how to watch the Breakers at Bandits.

The main event of the week is here. The Breakers at Bandits is sure to be a thrilling game. Two teams that exerted their will in Week 1 get to clash in Week 2. Both teams are fronted by their defenses, which showed various forms of domination against their opponents. The Breakers sacked Philadelphia Stars QB Bryan Scott 6 times and forced 2 turnovers. LB Vontae Diggs’s 37-yard interception return for a touchdown was the first score in New Orleans’ history.
The Breakers also quelled the Stars’ rushing attack to just 31 yards on 20 carries, outside of RB Darnell Holland’s 42-yard touchdown. The Bandits were just as impressive, stopping the Maulers from entering the end zone. While the defenses may not be an issue, the head coaches might want to spend time with their offenses.
Ta’amu was in control in the first half of Week 1. Yet, he became a bit reckless towards the end of the half and into the second, forcing unnecessary throws and causing turnovers. That won’t fly against an opportunistic Breakers defense.
New Orleans has one of the best secondaries in the USFL. Ta’amu will have to mind his Ps and Qs not to give the Breakers additional possessions. It will be thrilling to watch these two teams play each other. While making a pick is hard, I’ll go with the Bandits until they prove me wrong. However, don’t be surprised by a Breakers upset.
Breakers at Bandits Score Prediction: Bandits 23, Breakers 21
