The 2023 XFL season is about to kick off, and the return of spring football has brought a sense of normalcy to football fans. After two failed attempts at starting the league, this new iteration under the helm of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson seems to have the legs for a long life. Now, we’ll just need to see what the quality of play will be before we can get our hopes set too high.

With a plethora of talent on this year’s XFL rosters, including some “big” names that might be familiar to NFL fans, optimism is running rampant. Let’s take a look at the current XFL standings for this season.

2023 XFL Standings

In this version of the XFL, there are eight teams that will be divided up into a North and South division. Interestingly enough, the three teams located in the state of Texas will all do battle in the South division.

Each XFL team will play 10 regular-season games, and the top two from each division move on to the playoffs. So, yes, 50% of the league will make the playoffs. The North Division and South Division title games will be played on April 29 and 30. The XFL Championship Game will be held on May 13.
